【CYPRESS –Eggshell Raden- Emerald Bamboo at Dawn】

A bamboo with hollow inner were given the meaning of humility by people, it’s branches bend but not broken so people make it as the principle of life. Bamboo is also the symbol of high and upright, the forceful, graceful and honesty that bamboo represents is what people looking for.
We use the techniques of Raden inlay and maki-e to depict the shimmering green bamboo leaves, as if adorned with morning dewdrops. Paired with the smooth and lustrous nishiji lacquer(つるりにしじ) finish on the pen barrel, it instantly brings to life the upright silhouette of a bamboo grove on the earth.
