Goldfish is a mascot in Japan. People regard goldfish as a symbol of peace, happiness, auspiciousness, and prosperity, and give them a beautiful and peaceful spiritual sustenance. "Goldfish" takes the homonym of "golden jade", which means a wealth of life (fish), and has the meaning of "full of gold and jade".

The designer combines raden, eggshell, and urushi art to depict the free-spirited goldfish in water. They use a pure black pen barrel design embellished with raden seaweed and eggshell wave patterns, skillfully showcasing the goldfish's sense of freedom and ease.
