【CYPRESS－Maki-e：Golden Sansui】

The designer used the technique of trace in gold and maki-e to depict the beautiful and magnificent sansui on the bamboo barrel, integrating various elegant elements to create a pen that is pleasing to the eye.

Bamboo with a hollow inner was given the meaning of modest and open-minded by people, its branches bend but are not broken so people make it as the principle of life and the symbol of high and upright in character. We take the upper hollow and straight part of Arhat bamboo to symbolize the humility and honesty gentleman, respectively sealed with hard-to-process Mokumegane at the top and the bottom, and also add the vital finishing touch on the thread near the grip that inlaid with Mokumegane ring, 15 times of painting with urushi to make the structure of bamboo stronger.
