According to legend, the sense of chicness of the founder of Bodhidharma "crossing the river with a reed" is passed down as a good story. Why is Venerable’s wisdom precious, because it can turn people from confusion to understanding, and melancholy to happiness. This is the verse of Bodhidharma’s Patriarch: "I came to Eastern China to promote the Dharma and to save the bewildered beings. A flower prospers with five leaves and establishes the Zen teachings that directly target people’s hearts. Naturally, the prosperity of Zen Buddhism Bodhidharma, or dharma for short, was originally born in the Brahmin family. He was an Indian prince and brought Zen Buddhism into China. He was the founder of Chinese Zen Buddhism. He is honored as the Patriarch of Bodhidharma and is the most important figure in Zen!

「吾本來茲土，傳法救迷情。​一花開五葉，結果自然成。
這是達摩祖師的偈頌：「我來到東土中國，是為了弘揚佛法，度化迷惑的眾生；一花繁榮開出五葉，奠定直指人心的禪門教示，自然便能結出禪宗興盛的果實來。」

菩提達摩，簡稱達摩，祖師本出身婆羅門家族，是印度王子，將佛教禪宗帶入中國，為中國禪宗之開創者，被尊稱為達摩祖師，是禪宗最重要的人物！
