The designer grinds dry raw lacquer into various colors of paint powder and uses the Kawari-nuri technique to create textures with the lacquer powder. As the layers are polished, layer by layer, they create day and night gradients.

As for the cat that stares into the distance day and night, waiting for its owner, raden shells are mixed with shiny opal powder to create a proud, beautiful, and elegant cat. Such a simple artistic conception is the presentation of different materials and craftsmanship!
