【CYPRESS – Layered Flow】

This ebonite pen blank is handcrafted by @anton_wewecz and is a material that requires a long period of time to complete.

Made from natural rubber, ebonite is created through repeated layering, kneading, and forming of multiple colors, with every step carried out entirely by hand; over time and under carefully controlled temperatures, the colors slowly merge to form layered patterns that shape the final appearance. Like the extension of tree rings, variations in depth and tone intersect yet remain in harmony, maintaining restraint and order within their flow, and revealing a calm, enduring rhythm.

Because it is fully handcrafted, the process demands patience and, inevitably, waiting. Waiting for the colors to settle naturally, waiting for the layers to mature and stabilize, waiting for the artisan to deliver the blanks into our hands, and only then shaping them into a fountain pen that grows warmer and more expressive with time; it is made for those who understand the value of craftsmanship and are willing to walk alongside time.
